Our beautiful mom was found unresponsive the morning of Wednesday, September 20. She was found to have a moderate subdural hematoma (head bleed). She was intubated and had a craniotomy on the early afternoon of September 20. She is currently in the ICU at Avera McKennanHospital. She continues to be intubated and responds to some deep stimuli. She is not currently moving her right arm or leg. The surgeon gave us little hope but we are praying for a miracle! She has already shown small improvements that we didn't expect yet, which is very encouraging. She was started on tube feedings today. She is running a temperature today and they are checking for infection in her urine, sputum, and blood. We will update as we are able to. Please pray for a miracle for our wonderful mom! We love her so much! Our mom is full of love, life, faith, and hope for the future! She loves her children and grandchildren above everything else except her love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
