Thank you for visiting my Caring Bridge site. I loved the concept of being able to communicate as much information as possible about my heart surgery as things happened to our friends and family.
I never realized when setting up this site that it would have such a profound effect on my life. I thought that it was mainly for communicating out but then you guys started communicating back to me. There are no words I can come up with to thank you for all of your love and support. I have a completely different perspective on life because of all of the positive energy and prayers you have been sending my way. I had no idea how loved I was from so many people. Friends from all walks of my life are cheering me on that I haven't spoken to in years. I have cousins who I never knew about or met that are sending the most heartfelt messages to me. I feel that if you have one good friend you are rich. I guess I'm a gazillionaire :). I have been to hell and back and Zach, Terye, Lauren, my brother Ron & Elise, cousin Josh, my sister Jennifer, best friend Staci, Cousin Alisia and sweet loving Roberta held my weak, shaking hands and comforted me in my darkest moments in the hospital. Then there was an outpouring of cards, gifts, flowers, and most importantly so many friends cooked home made dinners for my family through the 7 weeks I was hospitalized. As Terye said , those dinners were like gold as they were beyond exhausted commuting back and forth daily to the hospital to be by my side. They didn't have the energy and were too tired to cook their own dinners. So, please know that you all have given me the priceless gift of HOPE. Without hope, you have nothing.
