Thank you for visiting.  I thought I was a happy, healthy 54 year old woman living a happy, healthy lifestyle. What I thought were symptoms of hormone changes due to perimenopause led me to schedule a doctor appointment on September 25th,  2017.    A cervical biopsy revealed the presence of an invasive cancer.  A PET and an MRI were then scheduled.  I was devastated by the results.  The scans show a large cervical and uterine tumor along with metastasis to lymph nodes in the pelvic ,, left axillary, and clavicular region.   I saw three doctors, all who painted bleak pictures.  The news was hard to hear and horrible.  Thankfully Dr. Check Svendsen helped to maintain hope.  I am blessed to have a friend, Dr. Maryella Loman who researched and found the Envita Clinic in Scottsdale AZ.
