Mark started not feeling well on the evening of  Sunday, August 7th and within a few short hours he had a fever of 105. His wife, Leslie called 911 and he was transported to the emergency room at Scripps Encinitas. He was quickly diagnosed with septic shock and in a very critical condition. They worked to get Mark stable and they are taking whatever measures possible to keep him alive. His kidneys have failed and he is on many different medications to stabilize his blood pressure and to help his blood to clot. He is currently on a ventilator to help him breathe and also dialysis in hopes to filter out the toxins and fluids in his system and relieve stress from his kidneys. The hope is to restore kidney function. They have him on antibiotics to treat the infection, which they believe was caused by a Strep B virus.  It has been very touch and go but Mark is fighting so hard. He needs your prayers daily. Leslie has been by his side for every minute and continues to love and support her husband, family and friends. Please pray God gives this family hope and  peace and that God heals Mark completely.
