This is a site we never thought we would be using for our loved one but here we are and so begins our journey with Mark. Here is alittle insight to who Mark is for those that don't know him... Mark is 45 yrs old.  Mark has been in a loving relationship with his soulmate Tammy for 15yrs, together they share 4 children.. Falicia (Amanda) Stoddard,  Natasha (Devin) Casper, Kolton (Loni) Flick, Kilee Flick (Christopher Miller) 1 granddaughter Ainsley and 2 special boys he looks at as his grandsons Dman and Caden. Mark has always been a hardworking loving provider for his family. He is an avid outdoors man fishing, hunting anything to do with wildlife or being outdoors in general.  So brings us to the journey of this up hill mountain he is beginning to climb with his diagnosis of Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Larynx.

Mark started doctoring roughly a month to 2 months ago due to retaining fluid in his legs.  Upon 1st visit to the urgent care department they found that he was having issues with his kidneys with high levels of protein and blood in his urine. He was then told he needed a kidney biopsy. His voice had been getting hoarse for last 6 months to a yr (yes he was told to go get  it checked out but he is stubborn man and doesn't like doctors so never goes until its last minute) and 2 wks before his biopsy he noticed a lump on the side of his neck. He then had a ultrasound of the lump and then was told yet again he needed a biopsy of that to also. On Nov 24 2017 he had a kidney biopsy. On Dec 1 2017  he received the preliminary results which were that he had Membranous Nephropathy Disease of his kidneys. On Dec 5 2017 he had his neck biopsy this is the day that has forever changed his and our family lives forever....the dread word cancer....He has Stage 4 Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Larynx.  So begins the journey....

Between Tammy and the close family friend Darlene this page will be being updated on a regular basis with news on Mark, any updates on him and photos of him during this journey. This is an easier way for family to keep everyone updated on him rather than making tons of phone calls as of now our attention and time need to be on him. Please leave caring supported messages or stories of Mark you may have to keep his spirits up and to give him that little extra push up this mountain he is now climbing. Please keep him in your prayers as they are very appreciated by him and the family. Continue to check back for update on his journey....
