All entries on this site have been written by Sarah....Mark's wife.

Mark's journey began...as far as we can recall......in August of 2010.  He woke up one morning with painful tendons.  He was able to manage with work but did not begin his doctoring of the painful tendons until Jan. 2011.  After 5 months of no answers as to why his tendons were "sticky" and painful (thru out body)....we had found from a Rheumatologist that his kidney levels had drastically reduced from Jan. 2011 to June 2011.  He was admitted to St. Joseph's hospital in Marshfield WI for plasmapheresis.  He went thru 5 treatments for that.

His kidney levels....we were told....were pretty stabalized at an average of 25% function.  Creatnine levels were pretty stable at 2-3 which we were told was good for his Kidney Stage 4 disease.

On Oct. 2nd Mark was admitted to Howard Young Hospital in Woodruff WI for high fever and persistant diahrea.  (Sorry for misspellings!)  He was taken to Methodist Hospital at Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN via ambulance on Monday Oct. 3rd.  He had a scheduled appointment as an outpatient on Oct. 4th....but that had changed due to his condition and went straight to Methodist Hospital as inpatient.

Many tests have been done since we have been here....and we pray fervently that we will be able to get some answers....even tough answers.  We believe all our strength comes from our Heavenly Father and He will see us through.  We lean on Him and cast our troubles to Him knowing He is in control of all things.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. ALL messages will be shared with Mark.

With love,

Sarah
