Hello everyone. My name is Eric Jurin, I am friend of Mark’s and I’ve created this page on behalf of the Walters family for our amazing friend Mark “Pudge” Walters. He suffered a massive hemorrhagic stroke on January 30th. which resulted in a severe brain bleed that caused pressure on his brain stem, as well as part of his brain. In an effort to reduce the swelling, he has undergone a craniectomy and is in the nuro ICU. He is in a medically induced coma on a ventilator to control his vital functions. Once the cranial swelling has subsided, it will allow for his medical team to perform and MRI which will reveal his overall brain activity and what damage, if any, has been done.
As we all know, Mark has a heart of gold and is currently fighting for his life. Mark is in the process of changing careers and entering the mortgage lending industry. He was studying for his MLO and finalizing his new career path. Because of this transition, he is currently without health insurance and both he and his family are in need of assistance.
