On Wednesday October 6, 2021, Mark was taken by ambulance to Aurora hospital in Green Bay for an aortic dissection which went from the aortic arch & included his right carotid artery. This caused a stroke with some temporary paralysis on left side of body. Mark was flown by helicopter to St. Luke's Hospital in Milwaukee. After further evaluation, he was transported to the University of Chicago Hospital to receive the life saving surgery.
The nurse by Mark in ICU says no plants or flowers are allowed in ICU. At this time, Mark and Renae have requested no visitors. Also, in lieu of ever changing circumstances, Mark and Renae ask that we send cards to their home instead of to the hospital. There is no need to make donations to or through the Caringbridge website. Thank you for understanding.
