The Lund Family was hit with Covid and unfortunately Mark was hit extremely hard by Covid. He is currently at St. Mary's hospital in the ICU battling this hard hit virus. Mark was admitted to St. Mary's hospital on October 13th with Covid. He was moved to the PCU on October 17th and to the ICU on October 25th. Mark was placed on a ventilator on November 1st, where he is expected to remain for the next 2-4 weeks (timing is all arbitrational). The care team has stated that every day on the ventilator means 1-2 weeks of additional rehab/healing. The family was granted permission to visit after 22 days post Covid symptoms, but only 1 person in a 24 hour period. Mark and his wife have 7 amazing children who have grown up in the Sun Prairie community. The Caringbridge site was started to streamline the update process of the wonderful support network surrounding the Lund Family. The Lund Family has expressed their genuine appreciation for all who continue to provide support and love to the family and it is with a very humble heart and extreme gratitude that they ask for continued prayers and support.
EDIT: On Friday, November 26th Mark went to God's Kingdom in heaven where he will enjoy eternal glory. Mark went peacefully surrounded by his family.
