Welcome to Mark's site! We will be using this site to keep all those interested in his journey through this illness updated. Mark Kirton was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in May 2017, after the unresectible tumor halted a planned Whipple Procedure on May 24th, which prompted a new plan from the doctors. This plan includes a round of chemotherapy, and possibly another round in tandem with radiation treatment. Once this tumor has shrunk to a manageable size, the Whipple Procedure will be performed with the goal of entirely removing the tumor. We are in for a large battle which has only just begun, but the amount of support we have been shown has touched our hearts and we thank each of you for your continued prayers and support.
