By Amy Kiley - After having headaches for a couple of months that were not going away, Mark went to see a doctor which eventually led to a scheduled ct scan on June 1st. It was evident from this scan that there was something not quite right. He was sent to ER and admitted at Central DuPage Hospital. An MRI confirmed a large tumor on the back left side of his brain. He is having surgery on Monday to remove it. We are super optimistic and confident that the team here will be able to get this. We do not know what type of tumor, how long it's been there or if it is malignant or benign at this point. I'm setting this up as a place to share our journey with all of you who love Mark and our family. We are so lucky to have an incredible support system through family, extended family, friends and coworkers. Thank you!
