Mark has been diagnosed with lung and brain cancer.  He is otherwise very strong and in good spirits.  Step one was to remove a large brain tumor.  The surgery was successful.  Step two was brain radiation to address other small lesions.  He completed the radiation and subsequent imaging has shown a major decrease in brain cancer.  Step three, which stated May 17th, is chemotherapy to address the lung cancer. The chemotherapy he’s on generally shows positive results with minimal side affects.

The cancer is stage four so this is something he will live with ongoing.  Our hope is that with chemotherapy and repeat brain radiation if necessary, things will improve or stabilize.  In the meantime, please know that we so very much appreciate all your spirit lifting love and support.
