Having lived a life of relatively good physical health, this all changed for Mark in January of this year. When an emergency to the hospital identified a problem with his heart, with Gloria Jean (Jeannie) by his side the road led down to many paths including recommending surgery to repair a valve. With this surgery initially scheduled, a series of challenges and complications arose leading to further hospitalizations resulting to a life flight to Ascension St Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis on Saturday April 24th. Under the care of a large group of specialists, Mark has now been stablized and now being prepared to have a more complicated surgery and recovery hopefully to occur this next week. The road ahead continues with anticipated challenges. This site will be used to provide updates as well as suggestions on how you may support Mark and his loving wife Gloria Jean (Jeannie.)
