Mark went in for an MRI on his back a few months ago as its been bothering him due to an accident back in February. When the doctor called us to tell us there was something he wanted to talk to us about, we were concerned. To make a long story short, they found that Mark has stage 4 Mantle Cell Lymphoma and its also in his bones. Its a very rare cancer that only 6% of cancer patients have. It is usually found in men over 60 years old. Mark will get extensive chemo therapy every few weeks, for 8 treatments, then when that is completed he will go to Stanford and live there for approx. a month for a stem cell replacement. We are praying that we have successful results.
