Mark and Caroline Worley have been married for 47 years; they have had three kids, two daughters-in-law, one son-in-law, ten grandchildren, one granddaughter-in-law, and one great-granddaughter. They follow Jesus Christ, model their lives after his, and are fantastic examples of servants of the Lord. They have shared Jesus with thousands at home and in many different countries worldwide. They have taught the next generation of educators, business leaders, athletes, counselors, ministers, worship leaders, and so much more at Dallas Christian College. They have served in the local church as volunteers, teachers, mentors, pastors, equippers, encouragers, etc.
Mark and Caroline have done everything together, so in some small way, it only fits that they are BOTH in the battle with cancer at the SAME TIME!
Caroline has already battled Melanoma located on her high back just over her left shoulder and Uterine Cancer in her abdomen. Recently, she was diagnosed with a third location of cancer, Melanoma in her lungs, and will be undergoing treatment soon.
Mark had what is now known to be a seizure that led to him being rushed to the ER. While scans have not determined the cause of these seizures, scans did reveal a mass on his pancreas. It is believed to be cancerous through scans, blood work, and the wisdom of doctors. A biopsy will be done to determine the next step of care.
