Hi Family and Friends,   On June 16th,  I went to a job interview.  As I was leaving, my knee gave out and I fell down 4-5 stairs.  Paramedics came and took me to the hospital.  As it turns out, I broke my leg (femur).  I also have a tumor on my knee in the same leg, which I've known about for 2 weeks.  I was then transferred to the Mayo Hospital where I've had an MRI, 3 CT scans and a bone density test.  On June 20th I had surgery where they put my leg in traction with pins and rods and took a biopsy of the tumor, which came back inconclusive.  It hurts like hell, but my saint of a mom has been with me day and night (when they would let her stay). I wouldn't be able to do this without her. The biopsy has since been studied and I have osteosarcoma, bone cancer.  I have a lot of doctors to meet with and go over the treatment options.  But they are say it is isolated, which is good. I'm taking this one day at a time on this long road to recovery.  I really appreciate all your love and support.
