Hello from Truckee, CA,

As most of you know (and I apologize to those of you that we have not had the chance to reach out to), my mom  has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer.  She had extensive surgery to remove 99% of the cancer on February 17th, and was in the hospital for 14 days post surgery.  She then came home to recover and prepare for chemotherapy treatments.  Since she has been home, she has  been slowly recovering, but has had a recent setback.  She is primarily in good spirits and is ready to start her treatments.  I have started this website as a way to keep friends and family updated on moms journey.  We appreciate your parayers and words of hope and encouragement during this time. Please feel free to invite any of moms "fans" to create an account on caring bridge, and keep up to date on the journey ahead.
