My Mom Marie just got back her results from her biopsy yesterday and it looks like it she is going to have more of a challenge than she thought. I am starting this Caring Bridge  to support her in her recovery. This way she can look here for support and share info, so that  everyone who wishes to know, knows what is happening and can help her.  This is the Email she sent out to people to explain what she is going through:
Jan 10th
Well I started the new years off good. Found a lump under my breast had a biopsy and it was cancer.
They decided to do a MRI to see if it was in both breast and lymph nodes.
Breast came out ok just under the left breast, but it showed something not quite right in left lymph node.
Today I go have a biopsy of the lymph nodes All the Doctors  will meet and discuss what they will do for treatment. If lymph node comes out ok it should be smooth sailing. They will try to shrink the mass under my breast as it is only a Ct from the rib before they operate to remove it.
If the Lymph node comes back bad they will have to hit it hard with chemo and that will be a whole other story.
It is the waiting that drives you nuts. After today at least by Fri I should know what is going to happen.
I told them they are messing up my Florida trips ha ha.
I will keep you informed just send a prayer my way today.
