Welcome to our Caring Bridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. As some of you are already aware, it has been a difficult summer for our family. In June, Maricia was diagnosed with breast cancer. She went in for a routine mammogram and a tumor was found in her right breast. During another visit to do an ultrasound and biopsy, another tumor was found on her left breast. Unfortunately, this tumor was also malignant. Surgery is now scheduled for July 24th where they will be removing both tumors. The recovery time will be up to 6 weeks. After the surgery we will have more information on the next steps for her treatment plan. We will post an update after surgery. Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers.
