In June 2020, Maria was diagnosed with metastasized triple-negative breast cancer. Due to her strong faith in God's plan, support from family and friends, and a whole lotta personal conviction, she triumphed over 16 rounds of chemotherapy over 20 weeks from June through November.
On December 9, Maria will have a bilateral mastectomy. We ask for your continued and fervent prayers for the eradication of all cancer from her body, a swift recovery from surgery, and spiritual strength for Maria in the weeks ahead as she trusts in God's promises.
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." Jeremiah 29:11

I want to thank my friend Kathy Jirak for urging me to use this site and for agreeing to act as the administrator. The love and encouragement I've received from family and friends since my diagnosis has kept me from despair. I worry that I haven't responded to all those who've reached out, fearing that they might feel their actions were unimportant. Nothing could be further from the truth; it's just a matter of stamina. Hopefully, this site will offer a practical way to answer questions and convey my sincere gratitude. As challenging as this has been, I have seen God's grace every step of the way. Thank you for your continued prayers and please share this site with anyone who would like to be part.
