Marianne was diagnosed with radiation necrosous in march. She had the brain surgery on March 31st. They took the cysts out but also had to remove some brain tissue. She has very poor mobility but is able to eat by herself. She can walk with a walker but for only very short periods of time. She spent 3 weeks at care partners in asheville before we brought her home. Her strength didnt improve very much. She can talk but sometimes forgets words or gets a little scrambled but most days are good! She can remember everyone! She remembers the past but forgets recent events and daily activities. She loves being home and enjoys us (family) taking care of her.
