Late in December, I had a routine mammogram (get your mammograms, ladies!)  which showed 'suspicious' areas.  That was the beginning of this very big adventure for me.  Since then I have been poked and prodded, MRIed and ultrasounded etc. They have decided both breasts are involved but fortunately the lymph nodes have not become involved which is very good news.  The general plan is to use high power chemo for 6 months and then do surgery to remove whatever is left.  I am very fortunate to have good friends who are willing to help support me as this unfolds.  I am also grateful to my Therapeutic Touch colleagues and other friends who will be sending me healing vibes over the ethers.  And my Quaker community is sending Light at every opportunity.  It takes a village to heal a person and I am a very grateful recipient!
