As many of you know, I have lived with kidney disease for eight years. Three years ago the doctor told me it might be time to start looking for a donor. After three years of searching and 11 or12 people offering their kidneys, seven of those people ended up going down to Duke for final testing and of those one angel appeared! My angel is Carol Dreiss, the wife of Andy’s cousin from Chicago. She has a fabulous kidney! So between her fabulous kidney, the great folks at Duke and my army of family and friends prayers, I know this journey will be successful And so we begin on Monday, December 3 at the ungodly hour of 5:30 A.M. Keep those prayers rolling for me and for Andy who has to sit by and watch this. Love you all
