In the past few months my mom's health has begun to deteriorate rapidly.  One of the greatest joys in my mom's life was her friends; loyal, fierce, and funny.  While I would love to be able to call each of you and update you there are not enough hours in the day (I hope my life is marked with as many close friendships as my mom has had) and my heart can not endure rehashing updates over and over again.

Until recently mom has, even on her worst days, perked up with promises of ice cream, grandkids, and Target.  My heart breaks at this slow goodbye and I am grateful for all prayers and positivity you can send our way.  I especially implore prayers for my mom to feel peace and for our children, Aubrey and Deacon, to find comfort and light in this dark time.  While challenges have abounded- the gift of my children having their Tutu present for all of their big and small moments is an irreplaceable blessing.
