Marge McDevitt

Welcome to Marge McDevitt's CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place.  Please feel free to share this website with others. It will make it much easier on the family as we try to keep everyone updated on Marge's progress.   We know Marge has lots of friends, family, and support and we'll do our best to keep the information up to date.  


To bring everyone up to date, Marge got sick the end of January and was diagnosed with lymphoma on February 1. They have also diagnosed her with bone cancer. Currently we don't know the prognosis. She started chemo on Monday, February 13. 

Although they don't know everything about the cancers she has, they continue to do testing and have begun to treat what they do know. 

She was very sick when she entered the hospital but is feeling better by the time she started the chemo.

She will have some tough days ahead as the chemo does its job but loves to hear from people with calls and visits. She asks your patience if she doesn't pick up the phone right away though. Visitors are welcome but please don't come if you're sick in any way as her immune system is completely compromised.  If you're unsure there are masks right outside her door. 

If you do come, please keep your visits short as she tires easily. 

We appreciate your love, support and words of hope and encouragement.
