Eggers, Marjorie E. Marjorie Elizabeth Eggers, of New Brighton passed away on Dec. 19, 2016. She is preceded in death by son-in-law, Terry Gunderson. Marjorie is survived by husband, Donald; children, Robert (Kathy) Eggers, Cheryl Eggers, Julie Gunderson and Mark (Laurie) Eggers; grandchildren, Jennifer Macpher-son, Erik Gunderson and Elizabeth Eggers; great-grandchildren, Asher and Aden Macpherson. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Thurs., Dec. 22, 2016 at Messiah Lutheran Church, 2848 County Rd H2, Mounds View, MN, with a visitation 1 hour prior. Hello - we wanted to get some news out about Marge. On November 29th, she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. It has spread to her liver and has metastasized to her bones. I guess she's had it for awhile. With her weakened bones she has 1-2 broken ribs and a fracture in a vertebrae. With all of this going on she's in quite a bit of pain.
Her and Don are still at Abbott Northwestern where the doctors are working to get her pain under control.
We always try to look on the bright side, but they have said that she doesn't have much time - maybe 2-3 months. Please keep them in your prayers and I know Don would love to hear from family and friends. You can call him by calling the hospital and asking for Marge Eggers's room.
We'll add more info for how to get in touch with them for when she leaves the hospital etc.
