Hi I am a 77 year old woman who has always been very active playing cards, gardening, and most important, watching my grandchildren play sports and spending time with my family. In the Spring of 2015 I was diagnosed with stage four pancreatic cancer. . My husband, Ron, also battled this same type of cancer for over four years. I have always been a very active lady playing cards, going to church functions, gardening, and spending time with my family and friends. I was recently hospitalized a few weeks ago and have chosen to stop my chemotherapy and relocate to Bettendorf to be closer to my family. No one ever knows their fate, but my faith in God has always given me peace and to live each day to the fullest. I have two children and six grandchildren and spending time with them has always made each day worth living. I am thankful for being able to spend the time I have left with my family and friends. Please think and pray for me and the other people who battle this disease every day.
