Hello from Marc Wolfe! [Marc’s 1st Selfie at UCSD’s IMU - so folks don’t think he’s been ‘faking it’ this entire time.]

CaringBridge (https://www.caringbridge.org/visit/marcwolfe/) is the Official One-Stop-Shop-for-ALL-THINGS-MARC-WOLFE. Please save this url, download the app, and share it with anyone inquiring about Marc. There is no longer any need to contact Marc's family or call UCSD Health. This was a joint decision between Marc's family, his Trauma Team and the hospital administrators. We respectfully request your trust, understanding and cooperation. Any violators will "need to be destroyed"! 😉 😂 😉

Some other guidelines to keep in mind, per the 🐺 Family:

When you visit with Marc, please consider sharing some of your personal interactions with us all on CaringBridge under the Well Wishes section, Gallery section, or, in the Comments section of that day's Journal entry. Please focus on your personal experience with Marc - the journal entries are designed to report on the medical updates communicated directly by Marc's Treating Trauma Team.

When you visit with Marc, we would absolutely LOVE to learn about: Who you are, Your relationship to Marc, How you met, The life experiences you've shared (keep it PG13 and under 😆 - you  know who you are!), How you interacted with Marc that day, What kind of stimulation was effective and what wasn't effective; and, of course, If you witnessed anything AMAZING. WE WANT TO KNOW!! It's completely up to you to share or not, on your own time & at your own pace - of course - but those are the guardrails.

Most importantly, please keep in your hearts & minds: Not ALL the things you see and hear in Marc's room are appropriate to share and no photos or videos of Marc are permitted until he takes them himself. 😘 The Violator Clause will be strictly enforced. 😘

The purpose of this site is to bring us even closer together. 💕 It's also for Marc to see and use when he's up for it! The 🐺 Family will use it to request meals, errands, rides, etc., and so much more!

Thank YOU for being here to support Marc Wolfe on this complex and awe-inspiring journey back to health and well-being.

_____📢 DONATIONS 📢_____
Donations are welcome and SUPER appreciated. 🥰 The gift of TIME with Marc is by far THE MOST important and irreplaceable. Please see Shannon to schedule your visit!!

Some INGENIOUS Gift Givers have also showered Marc with phenomenal tools to help with his well-being and recovery (these angles have also provided UCSD Health with much needed fuel - to absorb the !SHOCK! of how beloved (and, incredibly handsome) Marc is - in the form of muffins & sandwiches labeled "THANKS from  Marc Wolfe's Pack".

To the Giving Souls who are inquiring about 💰Direct Dollar Donations💰: The 🐺 Family is in the process of setting up a Special Needs Trust, for which we'll be fundraising in the near future. As soon as the SNT is set up, I'll post a Journal Entry with allllll the details. Stay tuned!

[PLEASE NOTE: CaringBridge "Tributes" go directly to CaringBridge - NOT Marc. I personally adore this organization - as they have made this complex time in our lives less complicated - and have donated to help CB continue to help others.💪🏻]

_____📢 VISITATION 📢_____
Marc's fellow Patrick Henry Alumnus and BFF, the Lovely Shannon Rodrigue, has kindly volunteered to help streamline 🐺 Chosen-Family visitation. [If you're willing to volunteer for such a task in the future, please call me. You all already have my number.]

Kindly reach out directly to Shannon at 619-804-6381, so she can add you to Marc's visitation list and coordinate accordingly. It's" first come, first serve". However, please also let her know if you are traveling from out-of-town and want to have a better chance at visiting with Marc for a longer period. Keep in mind: Logistics can be a bitch! And Marc is running on his own schedule, NOT ours.

_____📢 GENTEL REMINDER 📢_____
You don't need years of therapy to know it's always a good idea to practice healthy boundaries BUT, especially, during a highly emotionally-charged time for everyone involved. Please refer to the Boundaries Guideline below provided to us, with love, by Marc's Aunt Tracy. I've been using it as a daily mantra and it has helped me tremendously! ✊😎✊

It is NOT my job to: *Heal others *Please others at my expense *Make it work if the effort isn't mutual *Continuously compromise *Tip toe around you *Anticipate your needs *Change myself to your liking

It IS my job to: *Heal myself *Listen to my needs and my desires *Respect myself and my time *Be my true authentic self *Set healthy boundaries that protect my energy *Leave when I'm not being valued *Say "No" when it's not in alignment *Be mindful with my "Yes"
