Updated 12/29/2020... It’s been nine, long days since Marcus was admitted to the hospital for complications of his diabetes caused by the COVID virus. We trust in God and his plan for healing Marcus and give praise for the progress he is making. Reality is that it’s going to be a long road.
We ask that you speak these specific prayers for Marcus this week... 1) His lungs - that they continue to build strength and independence from the ventilator.
2) His brain function - that it remains normal and there are no long lasting effects resulting from reduced blood oxygenation.
3) His care team - for the clarity and wisdom needed for Marcus’s unique circumstances.
4) The family - for their protection as they travel every day to visit Marcus. For their clarity in assessing the complex medical information and peace in the decisions they’re making daily for his care.
Your thoughts, messages and prayers and felt and greatly appreciated. Thank you and please keep them coming!

It's been a whirlwind these last few days with Marcus and all that is happening with his health. The goal of starting this page on CaringBridge is to allow Cindy and the family to provide timely updates to you while also allowing you to post thoughts and well wishes for Marcus.
We encourage you to check this site often for any new and updated information in lieu of contacting Cindy or other family members for now. We need them to maintain their strength during this time so they can be healthy and alert when receiving and processing vital medical information and, most importantly, present for Marcus.
