Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Marco is from Ridge Point High School and he has many friends and family that love him and are praying for him.
He was hit by a car while riding his bike home Tuesday afternoon January 17, 2017. He has been in the Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit at Memorial Hermann Children's Hospital in the Medical Center. His injuries are severe and he was airlifted to the hospital. The doctors, surgeons, and all hospital staff continue to do everything to help Marco with his injuries. Marco has a broken back, fractured skull and face, shattered and broken right ankle, left knee was torn open, but not broken, he is intubated and sedated to keep him from moving and damaging his spinal cord.

Last night he had a 5 hour surgery that has stabilized his back in order to help the spine heal. The surgery went really well and he is stable.
