Marcia and Lance have need of their community, family and friends.  A breast lump biopsy on February 7, 2017 revealed that Marcia has Invasive Ductal Carcinoma.  After receiving her diagnosis, a surgical Sentinel Node Biopsy on February 28, 2017 confirmed the tumor to be local.  While she feels fortunate that her cancer was caught early, the road before her is long.

After much research, Marcia has chosen her course of treatment to be a surgical lumpectomy and  bilateral breast reduction ( Marcia considers the reduction to be a silver lining!) Surgery is scheduled for April 6, 2017. After a period of healing following surgery radiation treatments will begin. Marcia's plan of care includes 3-4 weeks off work.  THIS IS WHERE WE ALL COME IN!

Marcia will possibly need help with meals, grocery shopping, light household chores, laundry and possibly transportation to appointments.  If you feel able to help, please visit the calendar and sign up to claim a time.  This will help ensure that Marcia and Lance don't end up with 17 dinners on one night!

The requirement to be out of work for 3 - 4 weeks will mean a loss of income in addition to the mounting medical expenses.  Assistance with living expenses would be greatly appreciated.  VISA gift cards work well, are flexible and immediately available for any need.

Prayers and positive thoughts are always appreciated and helpful.  Text anytime - Marcia is social!  Visitors and calls are welcome after the first few days.  Please allow time for rest and recuperation. No offense should be taken if she tells you she needs to rest.  Contact information Marcia -303-243-1713 (tel:(303)%20243-1713)  Lance- 303-324-9413 (tel:(303)%20324-9413).  Address:   42125 Las Colinas Drive, Elizabeth 80107.

Let's all pull together and support them though this challenging time. Please share with friends who would like to be included.  Marcia and Lance have no words to express the appreciation for the support of their family and friends.
