December 17, 2008, Marc went to the doctor for what we thought was allergies.  After a CAT scan, on that Monday and numerous doctors' appointments, he had brain surgery on Friday. I brought Marc home from the hospital on the 23rd, and went into labor at about 1:00 am on the 24th with Tristan.  This was the beginning of our journey.  We have experienced blessing and miracles, more than I can count, along with further challenges.  MD Anderson estimated 2 to 5 years of life.... almost 13 years ago.  Ultimately, our journey led us to Lake Lure North Carolina.  The cover picture was taken in 2005 at our current home.  Life takes us through many windy roads, many seasons, many obstacles, many blessings, and a few miracles along the way.  FAITH,  LOVE, HOPE, FAMILY, FRIENDS = STRENGTH
