Good morning:  Today would be 19 days in the hospital for Mom, she will be able to go home with assistance from home health and family.  She is feeling much better but of course, she is sore and adjusting to some changes in her life habits.  She will need a lot of follow up care and ongoing medicine.  Her white blood count has been a problem, but there has been improvement.  We would ask that any home visitors be vaccinated and/or wear a mask to protect Mom from COVID.  She is happy to be home during the Christmas season.  We are thankful that she is feeling better and even though there will be much continued medical follow up and care, we know that she has received great medical care in Omaha.
