Marc developed jaundice in late April. A series of doctor visits produced a diagnosis of bile duct cancer. He will have Whipple surgery Wednesday, May 17, to remove the tumor. We are hopeful this removal will cure the cancer with no further treatment, but surgery will tell the tale. Surgery will be at the Virginia Piper Cancer Center of Abbott Hospital, where he will remain for 7-10 days following. I will keep you informed as things move along. We appreciate your caring and concern.
