I was diagnosed with Estrogen and Progesterone positive Her2 Neu Negative breast cancer Dec. 16, 2008, followed by surgery (ies), biopsies, hormonal and fractionated radiation treatment. My team of doctors included Joseph Kelley, Surgical Oncologist, and Shannon Puhalla, Medical Oncologist, of Magee Women's Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa. And Sanjeev Bahri, Radiologist, Greensburg, Pa

My followup doctor is Erole Hobdy, of the USVI, who began to visit Nevis in 2013 (2012?); My go-to doctor for all things feminine is the wonderful sister survivor herself, Dr. Jessica Bardales of Nevis; And Dr. Bardales is the one who got the ball rolling in January 2017. And she did it outside of regular hours. Completing my health care team is Dr. Miranda Fellows of Eden Life in Nevis.

Due to insurance coverage, I have established a new team of doctors in Atlanta, Georgia at the Winship Cancer Center at Emory University Hospital. This is the same hospital where my son is employed as a sous chef in two food service courts that feed thousands daily. It is January 2017 and an Emory surgeon Dr. Preeti Subdehar has biopsied a rash on the previous surgical site. It shows positive for breast cancer recurrence. My new team leader of the "Save Mary's Ass" team is Dr. Jane Meisel. My integrative doctor is Dr. Bita Badakshan.
