Hi Folks -
This will be the big repository of updates and information. Please feel free to contact Jen if you have questions (jen.rudd AT gmail.com).

We are big fans of Ring Theory for crisis management. Read more about it here:

If you haven't heard the backstory:

The diagnosis is Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. He will be hospitalized on 3/4 to undergo the first 2 rounds of intense chemo (hyper cvad). After that, every 3 weeks, there will be 6 more rounds of chemo, being in the hospital 4-5 days each time. Finally, he will move to outpatient chemo. The entire  treatment plan takes 3 years.

This started out as what appeared to be an asthma flare up - fatigue and getting winded easily, then some weight loss we attributed to the increase in stimulant asthma meds. Since he wasn't back to 100%, he had bloodwork on Thursday (2/25) and then abruptly had a bone marrow biopsy on Friday (2/26). This is all to say that it's been very sudden and it is also the new normal.

Banner photo is from our vacation to Maui a few years back.
Profile pix was taking in the midst of an epic 3-day Chinese food crawl in San Gabriel Valley with a group of friends.
Both are happy places for us.
