Dear Family, Friends and Community of Margareta Neuberger,
Welcome to Maga’s Caring Bridge website. We are using this site to keep family and friends updated in one place. In the spirit of healing and love for Maga, we are so glad you are here. We hope you will visit often to receive and share updates about Maga who is currently on an intensive healing journey.
As many of you know, over two years ago Maga was diagnosed with ovarian cancer (ovarian clear cell carcinoma) and had surgery on February 14, 2019. She has been free from recurrence of the cancer with scans every few months for surveillance.
Early in July, Maga traveled with her son Lukas to visit her family in Germany. It was at the beginning of August when her husband Bob received the news that Maga was in the ICU in a hospital in Stuttgart. In brief, Maga suffered multiple strokes and went into a coma / semi-coma state.
Bob is now in Germany and has been visiting Maga (daily) in the hospital. Their son Lukas is also there in Germany.
On August 13th Bob shared, "On the positive side, there have been more frequent and longer intervals in which she opens her eyes fully - not clear what she sees, hears, feels, thinks."
As we are in the unknown together, may this “Caring Bridge” serve as a safe and sacred space to accompany one another - and to be with Maga in community. Maga has spoken so often of her love for her circles of family, friends and community. May our circles join together now - creating one circle of compassion, rippling out our healing love for Maga, as well as sending our love, strength, courage and support to her husband Bob, their son Lukas, and Maga’s family in Germany.
As a person who has given so much of her heart to so many of us; may our healing blessings and prayers encircle Maga now with love and grace.
