Mae Puppe was hospitalized in Bemidji, MN last week after stomach and abdomen pain. Upon further investigation it  was found her bile ducts were blocked. After a scope procedure they decided to transfer her to Sanford Hospital in Fargo,ND. After testing they have found two large tumors on her pancreas and on her bile duct. They are large and are unable to be removed. She has not been able to eat. She will have surgery this weekend to put stints in her bile ducts to open them. Another surgery will follow to work on re routing around the tumors. All this is so she can eat and drink again. After this we are not shure what the plan will be. Our family is in shock and we are trying to cope with this news.
