In April of 2015 Madison had a tumor removed from her hip that was found to be malignant. After several pathology reports it was deemed that she should undergo chemotherapy treatments at MD Anderson in Houston, Texas.
After 4 months of treatment, there was no cancer and she returned home and jumped right back into serving with Northeast Alabama FCA and getting back into her college studies.
A return visit to MD Anderson this past September revealed the cancer was present again and more treatment would be required. Madison is in a major battle against this horrible disease but remains faithful and trusts in the Lord with all her heart!
