Madison Cheatwood

Madison Cheatwood is an 8th grader at Longfellow Middle School.  On Friday night, she was in a near fatal swimming accident.  Two amazing girls noticed that she wasn't moving and got help.  She was unresponsive and unconscious.  CPR was started until the EMT's arrived and transported her to OU Children's.  She was put on a ventilator  and stablized. Her brain function seems to be normal but her lungs took on a lot of water.  She is on a ventilator until she can breathe on her own.  This young lady is a fighter and we have truly witnessed a miracle that she is alive.  The family is asking for your thoughts and prayers.  Please post your words of encouragement here!  We will update this journal as we watch Madison improve and grow stronger.  Let's go #15.  You got this.
