Mabel Romero

We wanted to update you about Mabel. She  suffered a compression fracture in her thoracic spine while on vacation that led to further testing and an ultimate diagnosis of multiple myeloma. It is an uncommon blood cancer and requires chemotherapy and stem cell transplant. The good news is that this is a treatable cancer and Mabel and her family expect her to make a full recovery in time.  She is focused on healing and has a strong, positive attitude.
