It starts on Monday, April 3, 2017 with a doctor's visit. Continued symptoms of nausea, confusion, dizziness, and a pounding headache led to an ER visit Tuesday evening. 9 AM on Wednesday, April 5, 2017--There's a large mass in the right temporal lobe. After a four and a half hour surgery all evidence of the mass is removed and taken to pathology for further study. Nearly a week later she's home and resting. One month later, a week before she starts Chemo & Radiation, the tumor grew back. It was smaller than before but large enough that the doctor needed to go back in to remove it. Wednesday, May 3, 2017: Brain Surgery No. 2--She breezes through it just like the first. She's back home on Cinco de Mayo. Now, she's started her next step with her doctors at Barrow Brain and Spine Institute.
