Welcome to my CaringBridge web page. I am using it to keep family and friends updated. I appreciate your support and words of encouragement. Thanks for visiting.
In a nutshell, doctors discovered a marble-sized (11 mm) lump during my routine mammography in October. A subsequent biopsy showed it to be cancerous, and that the cancer had spread to an adjacent lymph node. The good news is that the cancer is small and rates positively on two important measures (XXX and XXX). The bad news is that it spread to a neighboring lymph node. Consequently, I will be going in for surgery the week of December 12 and will begin the six-month process of ridding my body of this cancer.
I will use this website to let you know what's happening during the surgery, chemo, and radiation stages. I hope you understand why using the website to tell my story once. I'd love to talk with each of you and, in fact, very much look forward to doing so. But when we do get together, the information on this website will help us talk of things that are more fun to talk about than cancer treatment. I welcome hearing from you. If this site helps fill you in. great! If you'd still like to reach out, please do.
