Hello everyone, this is Erin.  For those of you that don't know me, I'm Lynda's oldest daughter.  In July my mom had severe back pain that landed her in the ER.  While in the ER they discovered a compression fracture in her thoracic spine.  She was admitted and underwent a very thorough workup.  They found a mass on her spine.  She was discharged from the hospital and followed up with her oncologist.  After more testing, she was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma.  She underwent radiation therapy followed by several rounds of chemotherapy.  She had her ups and downs but handle it all very well.  She has maintained a positive attitude throughout it all.  She has definitely had her days, but overall she has been a fighter.  She responded very well to the radiation and the chemotherapy.   And that is what has gotten her to this point.  She is now ready to undergo an autologous stem cell transplant.  I have no doubt that she will continue to fight and beat this thing.  Please feel free to visit this website from time to time to get updates on how she is doing and to leave some words of support.  I know that she greatly appreciates all of your thoughts and prayers.  We all do,
