Welcome to Luke's CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Since day one Luke has never been the one to shy away from a challenge or adventure.  And for adventure what better a place than Little Falls to call home.  Luke is a very lucky boy to have been born in northern MN, the land of adventure,  to his amazing parents, Alex and Jessica.  With their love and support throughout the years, Luke has grown into a  loving, courageous, and spunky little man.

18 months later, Luke became a proud big brother and has taken on that role with ease.  Luke and Abel are the dynamic duo, always together, exploring all around for their next opportunity for mischief.

On, Wednesday, May 10th, all of their lives were turned upside down.  Luke and his daddy were mowing the yard, as usual, when Luke decided to lean over and lost his balance.  Luke fell to the ground and his right leg was hit by the mower blades.

Luke was rushed by helicopter to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale, MN, where he immediately went into surgery.  Fortunately Luke was stable but unfortunately, the surgeons needed to remove Luke's lower right leg, below the knee.

We are encouraged by the fact that the outlook for Luke is very good and also by all of the great love, support, thoughts, and prayers that has been received.  We are confident he will be running and learning to golf in no time!
