Luke was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma November 8, 2021.
Luke, his wife Allison, and two children Evelyn (3) and Charlotte (2) live in Naples, Italy. Luke is a Civil Engineer for the Naval Facilities Engineering Command. During treatment, Luke is temporarily relocating back to the US for treatment, with the intent of returning to Italy post-treatment.
