Welcome to our CaringBridge site. We've (Luke, Jody & Malachi:-)) created it to keep our family & friends updated on our current medical circumstances. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement during this time when it matters most.

A GoFundMe account has been set up to help with medical expenses during this time for those who wish to donate you can go to: https://www.gofundme.com/lukeelliott. If you would like to help out, but don't feel comfortable putting your personal information online, please contact us at info@theelliotts.us.

Luke and Jody grew up together in the same church in Annapolis, MD. Once they were out of high school, both started volunteering with the middle school group at the church and formed a very strong friendship. The two began dating in September of 2006 and were married in July of 2007.

In 2009, Malachi, a sweet four-legged fur baby joined the family.  Malachi is a spoiled-rotten lab mix who loves tennis balls, squeaky toys and snuggles. He loves to run and chase squirrels, bees or any woodland creature threatening Grandmom's garden.

Luke is a self proclaimed computer "geek" and has worked in the IT industry in the past. He is now able to build computers just for fun. Luke is also one proud uncle. When someone meets Luke, it doesn't take long for him to pull out pictures of and brag on the three cutest nephews in the world. Nicholas, Caleb and Brighton all love their Uncle Luke!

Jody has worked for Starbucks for three and a half years, which saves the couple a fortune on coffee! When not at work, Jody spends her time volunteering with Maryland Therapeutic Riding, an equine therapy farm. Jody gets to spend hours loving on her horse buddies while enjoying the great outdoors. She also has a passion for reading and is currently working her way through a stack of literary classics.
