Since last August, as you may already know, I was diagnosed with a rare ocular melanoma. After being treated with radioactive plaques at wonderful Wills Eye Hospital in vibrant Philadelphia, my eye continues to recover. Most recently, a minor dosage of steroids was needed to continue the successful process of healing of my right eye. Unfortunately, that melanoma has showed up in my liver now, so doctors and nurses of another wonderful Philadelphia's health institution, Jefferson University Hospital, are demonstrating state-of-the-art knowledge as well as infinite care and compassion to begin treating me and supporting us - my Pedro and me. All this medical blessings are God's merciful way of carrying us by the hand step by step on this journey. He is also the one who has made evident to us how much love and support we have in you, dear friends, who have become our chosen family in our chosen country. I started applying with a nutritionist guidelinesas part of my idea of a comprehensive approach. Thanks friends for being part of this journey
