Welcome to our CaringBridge website. For many visiting this site, the information that mom is ill with failing kidneys will be a surprise! Further, for those who were not aware of the severity of her health, the messages contained here may be shocking. I assure you, they were for us (her children) as well.
The last few weeks have been hard for mom! She has battled against many ailments which complicated her kidney treatment through dialysis, and she is tired! As such, SHE has decided to stop dialysis... We ask that you honor and respect her decision! This means she will be moved to hospice and will follow God’s Will for her remaining life. WE ARE ASKING FOR YOUR PRAYERS AND POSITIVE THOUGHTS FOR HER AND US AS WE MOVE FORWARD WITH THIS HEART-BREAKING NEWS.
My mother (LUCY) is a sweet woman who is KNOWN BY A LOT OF PEOPLE! Communicating to so many of you about her condition and providing regular updates is a bit overwhelming for us at this time! As such, we ask you to respect our decision to use this Caring Bridge Site as a tool to:
