Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting. Luciano was diagnosed with a quick spreading form of Squamous Cell Carcinoma this past autumn. It was a surprise to him and as one can imagine his life was derailed on several fronts. It’s so humbling to see how incredibly positive he is maintaining through everything. While he is a relatively private person, he is also very socially outgoing when his health allows for it (which has been always up until recently) and so we have created this platform to share his progress with whoever is interested. Luciano’s passion for community living beyond borders has inspired many and we would like to facilitate a support system to give back. Simple things like dinners (soft foods please- like soups and purée!) make a world of difference. As of yesterday, he was transferred to Tampa General Hospital and is awaiting surgical procedure. He will spend his recovery here and at the Peace House on 21st and 4th St. South. Little things like getting medication, meals and keeping good company will be a light task when shared. Let’s divide and conquer this cancer to see our friend healthy again!!!! I will use this site to post updates as they come to me.
